shrink
n. 1. (short for head-shrinker) a
psychiatrist; that is, one who shrinks patients'
heads. By extension, one who feels threatened by his fellow men and so seeks to shrink them down
to size. 2. an inadvertent admission that many popular psychiatric
drugs cause brain shrinkage.
