n. 1. a disease caused by medical treatment, hospitalization, over-medication, etc.. This is the primary way that psychiatrists expand their practice: Fearful of a world overrun with sane people, they feverishly invent new mental diseases and specialize in treatments that cause insanity, such as psychoactive drugs, electric shock, lobotomy, etc..
